Residents over at 1000 Southern Artery senior housing in Quincy are spending Sept. 22 packing up more than 600 handmade scarves they have made for an organization called 2015 Scarves for Troops. Scarves for Troops is part of Operation Gratitude Blog which works with groups and individu als to send care packages to U. S. troops, veterans, new recruits, wounded warriors and military children. Here, Lucille Zahdi, 71, shows one of the scarves.
