Описание к видео The Masks We Wear: how do we find our Identity?

What do Fyodor Dostoevsky and Henry Miller have in common?
Two writers, worlds apart in time and culture, meet on the same ground: spiritual disease.

Dostoevsky’s Notes from Underground (1864) exposes the torment of a man buried beneath his own contradictions—longing for connection, yet rejecting it at every turn.

Henry Miller’s Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn (1930s) howl with rage against hypocrisy, society, and the decay of the modern world.
Both are voices crying into the void. Both wrestle with the question every human must face:

How do we find our true self, our own voice, in a world that silences us?

In this video we explore:
The Illness: How suffering becomes the raw material of art
The Masks We Wear: Identity, hypocrisy, and the struggle for authenticity
The Silence of the World: Loneliness in a society of indifference
The Inhuman Race: Why Miller rejected humanity itself
The Voice: Why speaking the unfiltered truth is both destructive and redemptive
Redemption in Dostoevsky: Why suffering might be the only path to love
