A historic moment in the evolution of global peace.

For the first time in human history, a group of 10,000 advanced meditation practitioners has come together in one place to collectively practice Maharishi’s advanced meditation programs.

In this historic announcement, Dr. Tony Nader, leader of the global Transcendental Meditation® organization, shares that beginning on World Meditation Day, 21 December 2025, a very large group of 10,000 people will meet every single day in one location to practice Maharishi’s advanced meditation programs together.

The number 10,000 holds special significance. It corresponds to the square root of one percent (1%) of the world’s population, known as the Maharishi Effect—a level at which more than 116 scientific studies have demonstrated measurable effects of harmony, coherence, and positivity throughout society.

Research further shows that this peace-creating influence is strongest when large groups gather in person to meditate and practice the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi program together.

Today, we celebrated this historic moment, marking the first time in human history that such a large, continuous group of advanced meditation practitioners has been established, now committed to twice-daily meditation, creating a sustained influence of peace for the world.
