I pick up where I left off in Video 3 by downloading my image from Canva, into my Downloads folder on my computer. From this point, I will take the image I have made and start the import process using the Headliner application to create my audiogram.

Even though using Headliner is self-explanatory, anyone who knows how to upload images to the internet will find this process very simple. What I DO THINK is IMPORTANT is that you name your file first before you do anything. You see me do this as a second step. I should have made this the first step before jumping into the editing portion.

What I didn't mention in this video is that sometimes you have to refresh the page when you are editing your audiogram. There might be times when you want to change the waveform color or position and when you click on the layer that has the audio, Headliner won't respond.

In this case, just refresh the page and you can start where you left off. If you ever have to leave your project, you can always come back to it and know where to start from the screen inside of Headliner after you've logged in.

TIME CODES FOR TRANSCRIPTIONS
One thing I didn't explain very well in this video was that when you are matching the transcriptions to the time codes, the audio should match up to the time code that is running while you play the clip. You can see me highlight the timecode when I play the video and when I stop it.

Also, when you're matching up time codes to the audio, it's important to know that the beginning time code for the next piece of transcription that will appear should happen less than a second AFTER the previous time code.

If you can't get your time codes to match up, there's a likely chance that your time codes from a previous transcription to the next transcription are off in time. Make sure they are chronological and appear at the right time.
