Minus33 is an official cooperator of the hikeSafe program. Assets we use are created and owned by the hikeSafe program, the New Hampshire Fish & Game, and by the White Mountain National Forest.

We are strong believers in safety. hikeSafe’s message can be applied to any outdoor activity, not just hiking. As New Hampshire natives, we are strong supporters of our Fish and Game and Forest Services. Our goal by participating as a cooperator is to spread the message of safety to our customers, both in NH and throughout the rest of the country. We know our customers love to get outside, and we want you to be safe so that you can enjoy it.

Minus33 also donates our unsalable factory seconds, returns, or defective items to NH Fish and Game so that they can be reused for search and rescues. Search and Rescue uses Minus33 products for victims suffering from hypothermia so that they can begin to warm them up immediately upon being rescued. One of the main things hikers are unprepared for is an unexpected night on the mountain, and many set out on what they think is going to be a simple day hike, forgetting to pack warm clothing just in case of an emergency.
