The Rolex Cellini Cellinium 5240 is a unique timepiece in the Rolex lineup. It is a platinum watch featuring a mother of pearl dial and manual wind movement. This is a dress oriented Rolex.

Rolex may not be your first thought when you think "Dress Watch" but it has quite the history in the watch style. The watch makes the most of it's 35mm diameter. There is a broad bezel and thick lugs. From lug to lug the watch is 38mm, making it very versatile in sizing, and watch sharing.

The watch is 8.5mm thick, thanks to the manual wind movement. The watch has surprising heft for it's size, thanks to the platinum case, larger lugs and solid caseback. There is a platinum pin buckle finishing off the strap.

The hour track shows the Rolex print motif with applied white gold indices, Arabic numerals and Rolex crown. Counter balancing the dial is the sub seconds with a silver track that pops off of the dial.
