In the first of our occasional In the Footsteps series of interviews Sam Sweeney (Bellowhead, Kerfuffle) interviews his hero Dave Swarbrick.

Dave Swarbrick is one of the founding fathers of folk fiddle and has played with Fairport Convention, Martin Carthy and countless others.

In part one of our interview, he talks about why he got started playing folk music, dealing with criticism, his love of Australia and the tune inspired by it My Heart's In New South Wales.
