This is a breakdown and behind the scenes look at how we created a short scene testing out Metahuman Animator on a non-human creature, that has been converted to the Metahuman rig using Metapipe. We captured both performances at the same time. The motion capture is done using six GoPro 10's and Move.AI, and the facial animation is captured using an iPhone 13 and 15 mounted on a Rokoko headrig and DIY helmet cam, then processed in Unreal Engine using Metahuman Animator.
