Sukumar has always amazed the audience with his lead’s unique characterizations and relative conflicts. He always prefers Non-Linear narrative to pamper the viewers, which has been a thumping advantage for all his films. One fun fact in Sukumar films is in all his films “love at first sight” is highlighted between leads. One more interesting feature of his films in particular, is the way he designs the title cards sequences which resembles a brilliant detailing of his respective plot points like for an example in Nannaku prematho, the title cards represent the Butterfly effect which is the core of the film and in Nenokkadine, the title card sequence shows the functioning of a music machine (which Gautam’s mother uses to teach him a rhyme) along with the beautiful theme score by Devi sri prasad. Music has always been one of the most appreciated crafts in Sukumar movies and major part of that credit goes to Devi Sri Prasad (fondly known as DSP). The Duo didn’t disappoint till date and will never probably do so. Other important collaboration of Sukumar is with DOP Ratnavelu. This combo is like a match made in heaven.
