DIY CHAMFER JIG - Easy Build to up your FURNITURE PROJECTS

The 13.1 degree angle Chamfer Jig, does it have to be 13.1 degrees, nope, was that planned, nope, but here’s how to build it and you can adapt it to your own specific router, wether that’s a beast of a half inch router or a simple trim/palm router like we did here.

Obviously if you have a lathe then this will be of no use to you haha But for the rest of you woodworkers out there wanting to up your detail game on your furniture projects, this is definitely a jig to have in your arsenal!

It’s a really simple build and hopefully it was simple (and entertaining 😜) to follow along with.

I’ll leave my specific dimensions of my jig that I made below, along with any tools that you’ve seen in the video.

Dimensions:

2 x Bottom plates - 35mm x 200mm
2 x Side guides - 25mm x 200mm
1 x Router rest stop - 25mm x 127mm
1 x Base plate support 25mm x 127mm
1 x Base Base (I enjoy saying that haha) 280mm x 127mm
2 x Wedges 90mm x 30mm top down to 10mm at the bottom
