German shepard's ear taping / care.

Описание к видео German shepard's ear taping / care.

A german shepard (GSD) dog is well knows for its majestic looks that mainly comes from its standing ears. In most GSDs the ears stand up naturally although some may face problems in the process. The GSDs ears should be up by around 5 to 7 months just after teething. Till that time the ears go up and down, one this way one that way, one up one down frequently. If they are not up by 6 months, you need to start taking measures.

In this video we are showing you how to tape ears in an easy way without any expensive tools. If your GSD is a mixed breed / has injured ears / if not properly nourished his / hers ears may not go up. We had a great success in taping out GSD's ears.

Take care ....
1) Do not tape the ears too early. Wait for at least 6 to 7 months.
2) While you tape your GSD's ears he / she needs to be tiered enough so that you can work hassle-free.
3) Always use medicated tape which is safe to use on animals. This tape is generally torn very easily by hand. Use the broad tape (5cm). Do not use very sticky tape.
4) The dogs tend to remove the tape in a day or two. Retape again without keeping a long time span.
5) 15 to 20 days of time should be good enough to make your GSD's ear stand up.
