Have you wanted to install hass.io on an existing system?
In this video, I will take you through how to install hass.io (Home Assistant) on your current system, whether that is Microsoft Windows, Mac or Linux.

Not a fan of the command line/terminal? Not a problem; I have managed to get this method down to just one command... that's right! Just one command.

I believe this really is the easiest way to install hass.io without going down the route of buying a Raspberry Pi just to run Home Assistant. If you do not know whether you want to use; like or can even get any assistance from Home Assistant the last thing you need to stand in the way of you trying the best Home Automation platform installed using the easiest method is the fact that you need to spend $50/£50 on a microcomputer.

This method costs nothing on top of your existing internet connection. There are many components of Home Assistant, which do not require the use of any purchased items eg smart bulbs/switches etc. I will be doing a dedicated series of videos specifically on these components in the future :-)
