♥ My story:
My name is Erin McGoff and up until 2020, I was just a documentary/brand filmmaker and freelance video editor. I directed the feature film THIS LITTLE LAND OF MINES (Amazon) right out of college, moved to NYC, directed 3 more short films, freelanced for dozens of companies including National Geographic, Hilton, and Capital One, and then boom—COVID happened.

As the world was frozen, I hopped on TikTok & started giving advice about how to navigate a career in the film industry. Turns out, people love my advice and 2.5 years later, I have over 3 MILLION followers as AdviceWithErin. I am so grateful for everything my content creation career has given me.

After I married my high school sweetheart, Michael (brand designer) in 2021, we looked into the idea of building a cabin up in the Catskill Mountains, ~2-3 hours away from NYC. We started looking for land in January 2022 and finally bought a parcel in May 2023. We look forward to building the Outpost by DEN! Stay tuned for frequent updates.
