This is my AKAI 4000DS MK-I Reel To Reel Tape Recorder, playing a song by Johnny Glegg & Savuka, Great Heart. It sounds really good.

I do not longer have this recorder, because i already have some others. the belts needed replacing, and those missing caps were really annoying.
I got this machine at a triffstore, for only 5 euro!

I needed to clean the heads and the potentiometers, and i also lubricated the tape guide, the pinchroller and the motor, because they were a bit squeaky.
