Blowout Start to Finish


After shampooing and conditioning the hair, we sprayed Mizani Miracle 25 Leave-in, detangled and Bantu knot the hair into 6 sections. I like to use Bantu knots because they allow each section to stay saturated and not dry out before needed. I use this method whether styling natural or straight .
Next we work from the nape to the top of the head blow drying each section thoroughly. The key to any great blow out is the blow dry that’s because you only want to use the flat iron for smoothing and not straightening.
We dusted her ends applied Design Essential’s thermal silk and went in to curl each section.
We opted to only give a slight wave at the bottom of the hair so she could have more body when we comb the curls out.
