How To Make Mudakathan Rasam

Ingredients/Measurements
2 tbsp Black Pepper
1½ tbsp Cumin Seeds
5-7 Dry Red Chillies
Grind Coarsely

1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
1½ Cumin Seeds
Let the mustard seeds crackle
Curry Leaves
3 Dry Red Chillies
Stir for 30 seconds
8 crushed shallots
Stir till shallots turn transparent
8 crushed Garlic
1 Tomato
1/4 tsp Turmeric
Stir for 20 seconds and let the tomato cook
Add in the freshly made rasam podi
Mix till everything is well combined
Small gooseberry size Tamrind
2 cups Water
Add salt if needed
Once it starts to boil turn off the stove
1/4 tsp Asfoetida
Garnish with Coriander leaves

Mudakathan Rasam is READY TO SERVE!!!
