Meet Hydro Attack Queenstown - the ultimate blend of shark and machine. Operating from our berth in central Queenstown we’ll take you in our submersible shark on an adrenaline-packed tour of stunning Lake Wakatipu.

Hydro Attack is the world’s first tour operator of this unique submersible watercraft and the only place you can experience a trip in this exclusive machine. Go on the ride of your life as the boat’s 260hp supercharged engine accelerates from 0 to 80 kilometres per hour in 3.9 seconds. Throw in vertical leaps of up to 6 metres/18 feet out of the water, dives up to 2 metres/5 feet below the water at speeds of up to 40kph, a low centre of gravity, 90’ degree side rolls and accelerated tight turns and you’re on a heart-pumping roller-coaster ride.

We can make your personalised one-on-one trip as mild or wild as you like so sit back in our state of the art, pneumatic-sealed cockpit with 360 degree views through the fighter-jet grade glass canopy and get ready to feel the G-forces as Hydro Attack’s friendly and highly skilled drivers give you an adventure you’ll never forget. Duration: Trips last 20 minutes, please allow 35 minutes for the whole experience including check-in, safety briefing and loading.

Departure: Trips depart from our berth on Queenstown lakefront, check in at the kiosk.

Check-in: Please check in 10 minutes before your trip departure time at our Queenstown lakefront kiosk, next to Patagonia Chocolates on Earnslaw Park.

Minimum age is 6 years old. Hydro Attack also has a height restriction of 6 foot 4inches/193cm and a weight restriction of 110kg/242lbs. Please talk to the Hydro Attack team if you’re unsure if you should book.

Hydro Attack can be weather dependent. Hydro Attack’s operation can be affected by high swell on the lake, heavy rain or stormy conditions so we ask that you call our freephone number 0508 HYDRO ATTACK (493 7628) to do a weather check 45 minutes before your trip departs.
