On my quest to summit all of the Sedona high points Deadman's Dome has been on the bottom of the list and now its time to knock it out! Of all the Sedona summits, this one may not be the highest, but the route to the top is not easy by any means. The route is loose, bushwhacky, and technical at times. Also, constant route finding keeps the mind busy. This butte demands a lot from you if you want to summit. At 6,027', it is not the highest of Sedona buttes, but proves to be a very challenging 5 miles which makes it seem like 15 miles.
