In this video I respond to a call for a beautiful 32' Back Cove sinking at the dock. The owner was doing repairs and accidentally dropped his rudder. The rudder post is below the water line on this vessel resulting in flooding from the sea. Quick thinking from the owner as he plugged the rudder hole with some vinyl he had on hand. When I got on scene, the flooding was controlled and an emergency haul out was arranged. The haul out marina has a very narrow fairway to the crane and it was dead low tide. I adjusted mid-tow and switched to a bow to bow tow and made it around a tight corner. Thanks for watching!
