How to remove weather bar in Windows 10 pro

Windows 10 disable news and interests in the taskbar permanently for all users with the Windows Group Policy object editor.
Showing also how to enable the weather bar and news and interests in Windows 10 when the setting does not show in the taskbar menu at all.

To have the News and interests feature you need to have this update: KB5001391
If you can't enable it and you don't yet have the update, install it from Microsoft or install the feature optional update if available. If you have the News and interests available, this works for you.
The News and interests toolbar is shown by default as a weather taskbar next to the clock.

To permanently disable the new weather bar in Windows 10 taskbar you use the mmc command to open the Microsoft management Console,
Add/Remove snap-ins
Add Group Policy Object Editor.
Confirm, you are making changes for the Local Computer, press finish.
You should see selected snap-ins: Local Computer Policy under Console Root.

Navigate to
Local Computer Policy - Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - News and interests - Enable news and interests on the taskbar
Double click on the setting named Enable news and interests on the taskbar.

If you want to make it disappear completely and be gone,
choose Disabled and press OK.

If you want the users on your PC (including yourself) to be able to enable and use the News and interests tool bar later without coming back to this setting and change the group policy configuration:
You can leave it as not configured or Enabled and press OK.

When you choose Disabled here the News and interests are completely gone from the taskbar and can not be enabled until you change the Group Policy again.
