This system plays a big role in your metabolism. We'll be looking at your thyroid and your thyroid hormones - that's thyroid stimulating hormone, T3 and thyroxine. We'll be looking at what happens when you have an underactive thyroid or an overactive thyroid, otherwise known as hypothyroid or hyperthyroid. There are some other names too: Graves Disease, Hashimoto's Disease, Thyrotoxicosis and more.
