Mapping Spatial Health Data

In the R/Medicine 2021 Conference, Marynia Kolak and Susan Paykin present on Mapping Spatial Health Data. The presentation begins with an introduction to R spatial and its role in places. The basics of spatial analysis and mapping with R are explained using a live demo, along with some other resources. Marynai and Susan then follow with a walk-through of calculating new variables. Calculating spatial metrics, and finishes off with generating maps for analysis.
