Aloha friends.
Pulled from old phones and crude video cameras from the early days, this footage captures moments from tattoo conventions past while I was on the road as a working tattooer.

These clips were originally edited with rock music that eventually got flagged, so I’ve gone back and remastered the footage as best I could and paired it with royalty-free music to keep it alive and accessible. The visuals remain untouched in spirit — raw, imperfect, and very much of their time.

This is a look back at tattoo conventions from an era before everything was polished and documented to death. Long days, loud rooms, ink, flash on the walls, and the shared energy of people who lived and breathed tattooing.

These videos mean a lot to me as memories of the road and the craft. If you were part of that era, I hope this brings back a few of your own. If not, consider it a small window into how it was.
