Eagle feathers are sacred and are treated with the highest respect. They carry prayers, strength, and connection to the Creator, as the eagle flies closest to the spirit world.
Eagle feathers are used in ceremony, prayer, healing, and to honour important life moments and responsibilities. They are not decorations, but living teachings that remind us to walk in a good way, with humility and respect.
Before and after creating, I always smudge, and I also smudge the feathers and the work itself, offering prayers and gratitude throughout the process.
