The upbound THUNDER BAY is seen passing under the Homer bridge on the way to Lock 3, Welland Canal, Sept.24, 2019. She pulled over at the west wall below Lock 3 to wait her turn to enter the lock. Turns out there were 4 small craft being lowered inside Lock 3: two small sail boats, an impressive yacht from Key Largo named Sea Safari, and the veteran tug Vac, which passed Thunder Bay as they departed. Thunder Bay then entered Lock 3, was raised, and continued her voyage towards Lock 4.
