Yumi Nu is a Japanese-Dutch model, singer, and songwriter who's breaking barriers in the fashion industry. Born on September 23, 1996, in Englewood, New Jersey, she's the first plus-size model of Asian-American descent to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue in 2022.

Growing up, Yumi faced racism and body image issues, but she's now using her platform to promote body positivity and self-love. She's also a talented musician, releasing her debut EP "Haijime" and singles like "25" and "Find You".
