Meet The Fleet - 8 (Heljan DP2)

Today's meet the fleet video, it's the turn of newest fleet member, Heljan DP2. This loco for those who don't know is the class 50 prototype, which the real DP2 was sadly written off in an accident on the ECML.

Heljan offer DP2 in two liveries, the one you see here plus the later 2 tone green livery. The model has many features, flush glazing, full buffer beam details, DCC ready (8 pin socket), 5 pole can motor with twin flywheels, direction lighting, all wheel pickups, sprung buffers, wire handrails etc.

I've also take the opportunity to fit a Preiser driver in the cab complete with crew bag. Loco has been converted to DCC & is fitted with a Gaugemaster decoder.
