Matt London: there must be more nature – (London Philharmonic Orchestra – Debut Sounds)

Our five LPO Young Composers; Jakob Bragg, Philip Dutton, Zakiya Leeming, Matt London and Tayla-Leigh Payne created five exciting new compositions inspired by other art forms from etching to animation, painting to circus arts.

Filmed at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London’s Southbank Centre, these works were performed at our Debut Sounds: Where to Begin? concert by an ensemble comprising members of the LPO and participants on the Foyle Future Firsts Development Programme, and conducted by composer mentor Brett Dean.
