Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at these Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro LED Driving Pod Lights with Brackets. Now these three inch LED driving pod lights are gonna act as an auxiliary high beam and increase your visibility to keep you safe. As you can see, I have this light connected to my power source already, and I also have the included bracket installed on this light. You're gonna receive the hardware necessary to install the bracket onto the light itself and then the hardware to install the bracket virtually anywhere on your vehicle.

So this is gonna be a pretty simple, easy installation. The U bracket is constructed of durable aluminum, so it's gonna hold up really well for you. You're not gonna have to worry about corrosion or anything like that. And what's nice about the brackets is you're gonna be able to adjust the angle of the light in the bracket that's gonna work best for you. And then once you have that angle that you're looking for, you'll just tighten down that hardware and it will hold that angle.

Now, I'm gonna go ahead and turn the studio lights off here real quick and zoom out just so you can get a better idea of what this light looks like in low light and dark conditions. I think a better demonstration though, is gonna be able to show this beam on the wall behind me. So that driving pattern beam is gonna give you enough width to light up a standard road or trail. And these lights have a color temperature of 6,000 kelvin. So that cool white color is gonna match most of your factory lights.

It's also gonna be a very crisp color. It's gonna really add a lot to the visibility on the road, or on the trail, or on the street that you're going down. These lights have a raw lumen rating of 5,796 lumens and a measured lumen rating of 3000 lumens. So turning my studio lights back on, you can still see that beam on the wall there just showing you how bright this is. It's going to be a very effective beam, very effective lights.

So going back in for a closeup, let me go ahead and turn the power off momentarily so I'm not continuing to blind you. Now the peak beam intensity of these lights is 66,500 candela. Now in case you're not familiar with candela ratings, those ratings measure the directional light output and it's how anything is rated where you want light shining in a specific direction. Lumen ratings are just for omnidirectional output, like your regular light bulbs where you want light shining in all directions. But for a more detailed description of these ratings, you can visit this product page on our website or Diode Dynamics provides additional information that you can find. The power draw on that main beam is 2.7 amps. And these lights are designed with the newer technology known as Custom TIR Optics. TIR stands for total internal reflection. So unlike your older technology that uses reflectors or simple projector lenses, which are not efficient really at focusing all the light where you want it, this Custom TIR Optic is going to collect and focus all of the light forward and it's gonna do it very efficiently. And instead of having another external lens, certain lens patterns have been molded directly into this lens surface. So what that's gonna do is prevent the normal efficiency loss you see with having an additional outside lens. As you probably know when you shine light through any type of glass or plastic, you're gonna lose some of that light. You could lose up to 10% of that light from it just shining through. So by making it a part of this lens, you're not gonna lose efficiency, you're actually gonna pick some efficiency up. Now this does include the industry standard integrated Deutsch style connector. So you see the pigtail there with that connector, and that's gonna plug in directly to the back of this light, just like I have it here as it's connected to my power source. And these lights also have a breather patch on the back that's gonna prevent any moisture buildup. And these heat sinks are gonna do a great job of dissipating that heat quickly to increase the longevity of these lights. Now these lights have been built with high intensity LED chips. They do feature a durable powder coated aluminum construction. That heavy duty construction's gonna do a great job of withstanding things such as extreme temperatures, corrosion and vibration. Testing
