Explored some new waters today with my fishing buddy Vlad aka "Old Otter" first Lake we hit we watched a duckling get attacked by whatever nasty @$$hole of a creature of the swampy kind, fortunately the birdie made off with its feathery life, unfortunately I did not catch the attack on camera, much like we did not catch anything there at all except of several glimpses at skinny underfoot bass and plentiful sunnies of different makes and models that kept harassing our offerings.
Second Lake was in a forest preserve and had "ticks in balls" written all over it, however life was way more prominent and responsive !
Vlad slapped a toad of Sorts on the bump board - yours truly on the other hand kept slapping bare meat to shoo vicious flies away...
