How to paint martian bases for Warhammer 40K

My quick and simple guide on how I paint my martian bases for my warhammer 40K necron army. Sorry about the goofy movie "Mission to mars", but this is what I had in mind when thinking of a direction for basing my minis. The same techniques can also be used for Age of Sigmar, Star Wars Legion, Middle Earth SBG and historic gaming.
