Private equity fund Tiger Pacific Capital has acquired close to 4% of B9 Beverages, maker of Bira 91 beer and owner of pub chain The Beer Cafe, for $25 million. The latest investment comes after Japanese beverages group Kirin Holdings last month ramped up its 20% holding in B9 Beverages with a minority stake for $25 million.
