A lot of great stories and history from Alan Cathcart including the time he rented a Ferrari from Avis to race! Plus racing at The Isle of Man, building a race track, breaking the 100 mile per hour barrier in a 1937 Brough Superior SS100, going very fast on a 1916 Harley-Davidson that they actually didn't want anyone to purchase so they put an incredibly high price tag on it so it would only be used by professional racers.

Stewart and Steve discuss some of the amazing cars that will be sold at auction at Monterey by Mecum, Sotheby's, Bonham and Gooding and Company auction houses. There are an incredible amount of cars that are expected to bring in more than $1 million dollars and many that will break $10 million and possibly $20 million dollars.
Some of the cars we show you that are for sale at Monterey is the one of one 2015 Sammy Hagar LaFerrari Ferrari, a 2003 Ferrari Enzo that could bring $5 million, a 1969 Ford GT40 Lightweight that was one of only 10 built, a 1982 Delores DMC12 with less than 1,200 original miles that could bring $100,000, a 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Lungo Spider that is expected to bring $16 to $20 million dollars, a 1962 Ferrari 250GT SWB California Spider that could bring $17 million, a 1993 Porsche 959 Komfort Series II that was one of the last built (fourth from last), a 1960 Scarab Formula 1 race car that was one of three produced and raced by Lance Reventlow and Chuck Daigh and could bring more than $1 million, the Michael Schumacher 2003 Ferrari F2003-GA Chassis 229 race car that could sell for $8 million, a 2006 McLaren-Mercedes MP4-21 Formula 1 race car with an expected price of $3.5 million, plus four Vectors including a 1993 Vector Avtech WX-3R Roadster Prototype that could bring $1.5 million, a 1993 Vector Avtech WX-3 Prototype that could bring $1.5 million, a 1991 Vector W8 Twin Turbo that could sell for $1 million, and a 1996 Vector M12 that is hoping to bring at least $600,000.
Other cars for auction include a 1913 Mercer 35-J Raceabout that could sell for $3 million, a very rare 1969 Dodge Hemi Daytona that was one of only 70 built with a 426 cubic inch Hemi and one of only 22 with the 426 and a four speed manual transmission and is expected to bring more than $1 million, a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible with a 426 ci V8 Hemi that could fetch $2.5 million, an meticulously restored 1959 BMW 507 Roadster Convertible that hopes to sell for $2 million, and a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider Convertible expected to bring more than $3 million.
Stewart and Steve also discuss some designer edition cars like the Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer, a 1975 AMC Matador Oleg Cassini Edition that sold on Bring a Trailer, as well as the Lincoln Continental Bill Blass, Gucci Edition, and a Chrysler Frank Sinatra Edition.
