To give you some perspective, you must go all the way to the left, move up a bit, and then all the way to the right.

Therion - Thief
He can wield swords and daggers, though daggers are his preferred weapons. He can also use fire magic, though you'll need to put some effort making it strong in him.
Like any thief, Therion can steal items. Through learning skills, he can steal HP or even SP.
He also has the skill to debuff enemies to weaken them, allowing himself to strike even harder.
Therion has the dubious honor of being the only traveler who is able to open up purple chests. In case you're exploring a dungeon, chances are a chest like that is somewhere for him to open, and these chests usually contain items of high value.
