Destin, Florida is a beautiful destination situated along the Florida Panhandle. I recall being floored when I first saw the beach here 20 years ago, when I first got stationed here with the USAF. It's no secret that many have designs on owning vacation property here with plans to settle here more often upon retirement.

Given the current economic climate of 2023, there are some definite considerations one should take before purchasing a property in Destin. With interest rates being higher and inflation looming, affordability should be a primary concern.
