Atiq Ahmed shooters claim inspiration from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, wanted to become famous

Atiq Ahmed's killers had a long connection with crime and in their desire to become "popular", they executed the killings on April 15 while the gangster-turned-politician and his brother Ashraf were in custody of Uttar Pradesh Police in Prayagraj, sources said on Monday. Main accused in the murder of Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf, claim that they were inspired by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. It comes after which they had claimed that they killed Atiq as they wanted to become famous.
