Everyone knows about Chandragiri Buddhist Monastery but Mahendragada a less known beautiful Monastery and Statue near Chandragiri of Gjapati District. It has a Beautiful Statue of Padmasambhava in Mahendragada. It is just 7 km away from the Chandragiri Jeerango Buddhist Monastery. if you are coming to Jeerango you must visit the place. The ambiance of the place is photogenic. And just opposite to the statue another beautiful monastery is there named Neydo Kagyu.
After visit Mahendragada & Chandragiri you can also visit the most beautiful waterfall near the Jeerango Monastery that is Khasada waterfall which is 7 km away from the monastery. Khasada waterfall is mainly famous for a picnic.
