Today I’m reviewing my recent purchase of the Giraffe hose reel cart. I wanted something heavy-duty and more industrial than the other options on Amazon, and this one definitely looked like it would last. Even though it’s recommended for 1/2" and 5/8" hoses, I tested it with my 100 ft 3/4" hose to see if it could handle the weight and thickness. Assembly was fairly easy, though the instructions could be better, and I ran into a few issues like undersized cotter pins, only one included belt, and no wheel locks to keep it from rolling while unspooling. That said, the heavy-duty feel, solid brass fittings, hose guide, and big no-flat tires make it a solid option—especially if you’re running 1/2" or 5/8" hoses.
