This is the easiest Damselfly Pattern you'll see.

Описание к видео This is the easiest Damselfly Pattern you'll see.

From David Klausmeyer's "Favorite Flies," published in 2020, this foam bodied Damselfly Pattern is likely the easiest one you'll ever tie. No floppy feather wings to corkscrew your fly all over the place. Just simple white synthetic parapost, and there you go.

Hook: #12 standard dry fly
Body: Foam, tied extended
Hackle: Grizzly
Thorax: Blue dubbing
Wing: White polypropylene or something similar

Savage Flies is a project with the mission of encouraging and teaching fly tying to as many people as possible. The channel is named after one of my western Maryland homewaters, the Savage River. Thanks for stopping by.
