Here we have a rare opportunity to view an ultra rare set of PIFCO 30 Twinkling Gems in action, these Christmas Lights were still in the original box and in Excellent Condition.

The PIFCO description states they are: "A Constantly Twinkling Galaxy of Light".

The set comprises of 30 lights and shades. When lit up they do exactly what it says on the box and alternate randomly lighting up from one to another.

They originally come fitted with a B22 Bayonet Plug but had a modern plug fitted.

A little 'light' history.

The early 90's where the end for 'classic' style light sets, new laws saw the delicate thinner cables replaced with thick and bulky black cables making the lights look cumbersome and chunky, NOMA still produce some 'classic' sets of lights identical to the late 80's lights but with this nasty new cable, over the years these lights have been replaced with characterless shadeless sets and eventually LED lights.

We do hope that one of these older firms like PIFCO or NOMA bring back the classic style lights, perhaps in low voltage LED form in the old style sets of 20 and 40 and possibly 60-100 too with the old style shade, a mix and match option would be brilliant.
