Global Peace Convention 2017 featured the Global Youth Summit, a celebration of youth leadership that aims to engage and inspire the world's future experts.

Young people today are our leaders of tomorrow. The role of present-day leaders is to prepare and empower the next generation of leaders through education and experiences that will enable them to better understand complex global challenges and trends.

The Global Youth Summit is a space for young people to share their ideas and utilize their diverse skill-sets, knowledge and networks to effectively address persistent problems of today.

The 2017 Summit included Global Young Leader of World Economic Forum and award-winning broadcaster, Karen Davila; World Food Program National Ambassador Against Hunger, KC Concepcion; Chairman of Global Peace Foundation, Dr. Hyun Jin Preston Moon; United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia Pacific Social Affairs Officer, Marco Roncarati; UNICEF Advocate for Children and TV Personality, Anne Curtis; Climate Change Commission Commissioner, Usec. Vernice Victorio; and National Youth Commission Chairperson Aiza Seguerra. An estimated over 10,000 young leaders from the country and abroad participated in the summit.
