Las Vegas Vlog Day 1 - Park MGM | Eataly | NYNY | Aria | Slots

January 2024 Spontaneous Vegas Trip!

We woke up Saturday morning, and without any plans, decided to drive to Las Vegas for the long weekend. We were able to get a comped room at Park MGM, so we loaded the car and headed for Vegas.

We’d never stayed at Park MGM before, so we were excited to give it a try. We had a nice but fairly basic Stay Well room on the 23rd floor with a view of New York New York and T-Mobile arena. We had dinner at Toscana, in Eataly, and then hit the casino. After not scoring any wins or drinks, we decided to give NYNY a try. Not much luck there either, but we did finally get drinks, so we were happy. After an unsuccessful roulette session followed by an equally unsuccessful slot session in the high limit room, we walked to Aria and drank and played at Gem Bar before trying more slots there. We love Aria, but had no luck there either.

We decided to call it a “night” around 3:30 a.m. and staggered back along the Strip to Park MGM for a few hours sleep before starting over later that morning.
