Today's video we will be covering Rochestown lodge Hotel in Dun Laoghaire. The Rochestown Lodge Hotel driving test route is very similar to the Dun Laoghaire driving test routes.

The Rochestown Lodge Hotel driving test centre is located around the back of the hotel. This driving test centre is about 5 minutes away from the Dun Laoghaire test centre. The driving test routes for Dun Laoghaire and Rochestown Lodge Hotel are very similar and you recognise a lot of the areas from my Dun Laoghaire driving test routes.

The entrance into the Rochestown Lodge Hotel test centre is extremely difficult to get in to. It will be very easy to create a bottleneck around the side of the hotel as the lane you need to drive to access the hotel is very narrow and there is only room for 1 car at a time. Also, driving out at the beginning of your exam is difficult as you have to make sure there is no oncoming vehicles.

Once we start the Rochestown Hotel Lodge driving test route, you will recognise a lot of the areas from my Dun Laoghaire driving test route videos. In this Rochestown driving test route we tackle the area of Sallynoggin and the Sallynoggin Roundabout. The reverse around the corner in this driving test route is very busy with lots of cars approaching from behind so it is important to get this completed quickly.

The turnabout in this test route is very narrow and it took me 5 attempts to complete this rather than 3 attempts.

In all, this Rochestown Lodge Hotel driving test route was tricky and I recommend practicing coming in and out of the test centre
