Many saints have pondered the infinite fertility of the Most Blessed Trinity…God is Life…He is the Great “I AM”…existence and Being Itself. The Heavenly Father is always fruitful in that He eternally begets His Divine Son, the Second Person of the Most Holy Trinity. From the infinite love of these Two Divine Persons…Father and Son…eternally proceeds the embrace…the kiss which is the Holy Ghost. Both the Father and the Son manifest their infinite fertility. The Holy Ghost, however, does not bring forth another Divine Substance. He Who is always fruitful does not bring forth a Fourth Divine Person. Rather, the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity manifests His fertility in union with Mary, His spouse. Through her, and with her, and in her, the Holy Ghost brings forth true Christians…other Christs…who participate in the Sonship of God the Son.
