When making a screw conveyor belt using an automobile drive shaft and waste steel bars, the following precautions should be taken:

1. Material Inspection: Ensure that the automobile drive shaft has no serious defects such as wear and cracks, and that the waste steel bars are not excessively rusted or bent and deformed to avoid affecting the strength and service life of the conveyor belt.

2. Dimension Matching: According to the actual usage requirements, accurately measure and determine the cutting length and bending angle of the drive shaft and steel bars to ensure that the manufactured screw conveyor belt has appropriate dimensions and can be well connected to the supporting equipment.

3. Secure Connection: Adopt a suitable welding process to firmly connect the steel bars to the drive shaft. Ensure that the welding points are uniform and full, without any phenomena such as false welding or missed welding, to prevent components from falling off during the operation of the conveyor belt.

4. Dynamic Balance Adjustment: Since the automobile drive shaft has high requirements for dynamic balance during high-speed rotation, after the production is completed, the screw conveyor belt needs to be tested and adjusted for dynamic balance to avoid vibrations and noises caused by unbalanced operation, and even damage to the equipment.

5. Safety Protection: During the production and use process, safety protection measures should be taken, such as wearing goggles, gloves, etc., to prevent welding sparks from splashing and causing injury, and avoid physical contact when the conveyor belt is running to prevent personal injury caused by being caught in it.

6. Test Operation: Before officially putting it into use, conduct no-load and load test runs, observe the operation status of the screw conveyor belt, and check for problems such as jamming and deviation. If there are any abnormalities, adjust and repair them in a timely manner.
