After 15 years, I am humbled to re-release one of my most cherished songs, ‘SHUKRIYA’, originally created under my musical identity, ‘ALTAR COAL’, which has long embodied the essence of my artistic vision.

This song, once a stirring voice within the realm of Christian Hindi music, earned a place in worship songbooks across Hindi and Indian Vernacular Christian Churches worldwide, resonating with the heart of faith and devotion.

In response to many heartfelt requests for a version in a lower key, I am honoured to offer this re-imagined rendition. While the soul of the song remains untouched, its sound is enriched by the infusion of ethnic instruments, breathing new life into its timeless message.

‘SHUKRIYA’ is rooted deeply in Scripture, offering a profound reflection on the agony of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross—a love so vast that no words can fully capture it. This love brings salvation, hope, and eternal life to all.
