Some people might also consider this dish as Bagnet, which is a version of crispy deep-friend pork belly in Ilocos.

Ingredients:
1 kilogram or 2.2 pounds pork belly
1 tbsp garlic powder or fresh minced garlic
1 tbsp onion powder or fresh diced onion
1 tsp ground black black pepper
1 tsp sea salt
1 pork bouillon cube
1 tsp whole black pepper corns
5 pieces dried bay leaves
10 cups water for boiling
Additional sea salt (about 1 tsp) for seasoning
Cooking oil for deep-frying
