Nepal Communist Party (NCP) coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has claimed that his party has already “reached the stars.”
Addressing an election rally in Pokhara on Wednesday, Prachanda made the statement in a sarcastic tone, arguing that stars are far higher than the sun and that the party has already reached that level.

He urged party members to focus equally on introducing the party and its election symbol clearly to the public. Prachanda also claimed that while new parties may perform well under the proportional representation system, the NCP will emerge as the leading party in direct elections.
