Unfortunately, keeping the passion alive over the long term can be a challenge, and sexual pleasure can be complex—as both an art and a science. Fortunately, creating physical and emotional intimacy is a skill you are never too old to learn. As a certified Colorado psychotherapist and former attorney, Debbie believes that intimacy counseling is not traditional therapy, which often probes into the past, pain, and the problem, and couples counseling, which may provoke resentment and blaming.
