Laliguras is a sight seeing spot near Suntaleykhola in Dooars. From here a beautiful landscape of river and tea garden and mountain can be seen. Murti river flowing below through a valley with hills flanking its two banks. This is a good sight seeing spot in North Bengal.

At 3000 ft above sea-level the river valley is located in samsing under Kalimpong sub-division. Laliguras picnic spot in Samsing is enclosed by tea gardens, forests, hills and valleys. It is most beautiful during monsoon with tea gardens in every direction, a river flowing with full grace and awesome landscape.

Laliguras portrays a masterpiece of nature with an ecstatic panorama of mountains, tea garden, green valleys and shallow rivers. View of the mountains gorge here is wonderful.

Best Time to visit
One can visit laliguras throughout the year. The dark rolling clouds over the lush mountains in the horizon in monsoons are a treat to the eyes. Best time is October to March.

How to Reach Laliguras
Laliguras is located en route to the Samsing & rockyisland. Its only 25 km away from mal bazar rail station and 16 km from chalsa. From chalsa one can hire car to visit the spot or once can visit the spot on the way to samsing.

Rocky Island::
Rocky island is a new tourist destination in Dooars. Situated on the banks of the River Murti it is about 2 km from Samsing and is a popular camping site. The view of river and surrounding forests are excellent from Rocky Island but tourist amenities are basic. Accommodation is arranged in small Tents for overnight visitors. There is a hanging bridge over the Murti river that provides access to the lodges or cottages of the Forest Department.
